This coming Saturday, September 27th marks the grand opening of my campaign office and I’m thrilled to be throwing open the doors and welcoming the Kingston community to join me to celebrate. Come to talk about the issues that concern you most. I know you are as passionate about this city as I am, and I’m looking forward to an exciting exchange of ideas.
Opening the Doors to a Bright and Beautiful Future
Kingston is at a pivotal point in its history and we need to seize the opportunity to move forward. This is why I’ll be speaking to the big issues we need to address if we want to make these strides. These are the same issues you’ve been telling me about at events and during my door-to-door visits, issues like:
Taxes. People's eyes light up and I’ve seen relief in their faces when I talk about capping taxes at inflation. It’s all part of my overall strategy for living within our means so we can live better, together.
Seizing Economic Opportunities. People want to see the city grow, and to do this we need to create opportunities for people to find local, well-paid employment that allows them to stay in Kingston.
Revitalizing the Waterfront. The waterfront is a source of pride for Kingston and we want to keep it vital and beautiful. Part of this goal includes embracing a solid vision for the Kingston Penitentiary property. Many people, myself included, see incredible potential for this untapped resource which can create jobs, rebuild the surrounding area and thrive as a tourist attraction.
I invite you to drop by 1187 Princess Street, Unit #5 at 10am on Saturday, September 27th to enjoy refreshments, conversation and to celebrate the future of Kingston.
