As we look to the future, I see so much potential for how we can put Kingston on the map internationally by seizing global opportunities.

It has been such an incredible honour and privilege to serve as Kingston’s Mayor over these last four years. I am proud of what we’ve accomplished, and I am excited by the momentum that we’ve created.

Kingston, I want to thank you for your tireless support and encouragement during what has been a truly exhilarating (and exhausting) experience. It has been humbling. Throughout the campaign, the outpouring of support from our community has been nothing short of inspirational.

Today's the day, so get out there and cast your vote. There's a multitude of places you can vote around the city and I've listed them here. Happy voting!

Kingston's a city with a lot to offer people of all ages; from culture to recreation to economy, history and exceptional educational opportunities - we really have got it all. This is why we've got to put more time, effort and resources into attracting people to this jewel of Eastern Ontario, and of Canada as a whole.

One of my team members brought a pedometer on one of our many door-to-door canvassing blitzes. After we were done for the evening, she was amazed to see that she had taken over 12,000 steps. I agreed that seeing the number presented with such absolute authority was definitely surprising. 12,000 steps? It almost didn’t seem possible. 

Almost.

As someone who prides himself on vision, passion and precision, I jumped at the opportunity to paint a picture of how I see Kingston in 2025 - and it's not just my vision. It's a vision I've gleaned after talking with tens of thousands of this city's residents.
